About
The golf garage uses a launch monitor and simulator to analyze your swing through launch angle, spin rates, club head speed and ball speed.
This allows you to see improvement like never before.
I have taught PGA Tour players, college athletes and beginners. I am confident I can help anyone.
I enjoy the diversity of the students I have worked with for the last 30 years. Whether it's someone making a living or a beginner everyone is after the same thing; to become better and more consistent.
I also enjoy the process of figuring out what helps each individual student learn. Everyone learns differently and it's my job to figure out what each person needs... First, we diagnose the problems and then we develop a cure.
The process is what I enjoy most!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
The key to any great instructor is being able to incorporate the player's natural body movements. No two swings are alike!
Everyone learns in a different way. Most players are visual this is why it's very important to use video.
Feel is not real... Seeing is believing!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been an instructor for over 30 years. I have competed on a professional level as a player and also as a PGA Tour caddy.
I have worked with PGA Tour players (Dan Olsen, Ken Tanigawa, Kyle Reifers) as well as many top collegiate and high school players.

How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching after playing competitively and caddying on tour.
What types of students have you worked with?
All skill levels
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
In October of 2106 my son and I, both made a hole in one during the same round together.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Work with an instructor that not only identifies your weaknesses but also points out your strengths.
Your instructor should also give you very specific drills and practice methods to improve your weaknesses.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Most students just think about cost and availability. Neither which should be of concern. The most expensive instructors are not necessarily the best.
