Hello, I'm Coach Michael. I’m a USPTA Certified Professional Instructor. with 40 years of playing experience and over 5 years of teaching experience. Highlights: member of the team that won the finals of the 2022 WTA Mid-Atlantic Tournament and semi-finalists in the 2022 WTA National Tournament. I coach students for USTA junior tournaments and school tennis clubs.

I am offering fun private tennis lessons. Whether you need to work on your forehand, backhand, volley, serve, service return, overhead, approach shot, footwork, singles strategy or doubles strategy- I can help you out with your tennis game!

I teach tennis lessons in the Germantown area but I will also travel up to 20 miles to a tennis court that’s conveniently located close to you

Teaching Style:

I'm an excellent observer of a tennis student's playing style and skill level and can communicate clearly what is needed to advance the student to the next skill level through focus on fundamentals and specialized drills. At the same time, I can keep instruction personalized and fun.

Michael is an exceptional instructor. I went from beginner to intermediate in a matter of weeks. His approach is accommodating, thoughtful, and genuine with the overarching goal of challenging you at every stage. His talents and abilities clearly demonstrate that he not only has vast professional experience, but a loving passion and appreciation for the sport. Unfortunately, with so many mediocre instructors out there, one has to be extra careful in their selection. It took me time and patience (and a bit of luck) to find Michael.
