Tom is an excellent teacher. My children have been working with Tom for the past six years and they have grown into wonderful musicians. Tom offers both traditional and suzuki methodolgies and my sons have benefitted from both. I would highly recommend Tom to new or current violinists.

Mr. Fetherston is so patient, and always encourages my son to pull out his potentials. He is always ready to listen to student’s struggles, and helps out to overcome technical and musical skills/challenges. He understands schedule conflicts due to school sports/activities; hes willing to be flexible to take my son even in weekends.

I am a professional violinist with a Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance. To give you an idea what a fantastic teacher Tom is, I study with him any time Im working on a concerto. His ability to verbalize and demonstrate proper techniques is better than any violinist Ive ever studied with. This applies to beginners as well: I trusted him to start my daughter on the violin when she was four years old. Great person. Fantastic teacher. Youve found who youre looking for.
