Hello there! My name is Emily, I am a junior at VCU, studying music with a concentration in voice. I grew up in a very musical home, I have performed many times, have always been involved in choir, was a jazz band singer, and currently I write and produce my own music. Music is a big passion of mine, and it’s a way to bring people together. My goal as a teacher is to help each student gain confidence in their talents. I understand that everyone learns at a different pace and also may have interest in different styles of music, I will work with each student in a way that meets their needs and goals!

Devin Sullivan is a Music Education major at VCU. He has been playing music since he was 11 years old. Devin uses his creativity and musical understanding to help mould his lessons to fit each students wants and needs. He believes that music lessons should be fun and based around what the student enjoys, but should also cover Music theory (including reading music, ear training, aural skills etc), technique, and style.
