My name is Alex Giger, and I'm a Chicago-based violinist/violist. I offer in-person or virtual lessons for you, and can accommodate your schedule for a lesson. My style of teaching is empathetic and socratic. I create goals and customize lessons to help you develop your viola skills in a way that improves your applied critical thinking. I have over a decade of experience teaching students of all ages. My HS students have found success at youth orchestra (some currently in CYSO) and college auditions.
